Costumes for the Puppies

They almost aren't puppies anymore, being six months old and all...but still. Every year my family has a HUGE party the Saturday before Halloween. It's my mom's Chili Party. She makes THE best chili ever!! For the past couple years it's been "costumes encouraged" mostly it's just the young ones who dress up, so I made the puppies some Halloween scrunchy/collars. I'm in love with them!!
This one is Puck's. It has bats, stars, and moons on it.
Awww.
This is Abbi's. It has spiders and spider webs on it.
"Ok mom, are you done?"
She's so freakin cute!

Poor Abbi

Wednesday morning I took Abbi to the vet to have her spayed. It was really hard dropping her off, and I was close to tears serveral times. I felt so guilty. Puck missed her, and searched for her all day long. Martin and I picked her up at about 4:45pm. The vet said she had some long lasting painkillers that would last her through the night, and gave us some pain meds to giver her today. Abbi was able to walk ok, but wouldn't get up into the car, or climb up or down stairs. She slept a lot, but then was awake from midnight til 2 am. This morning I gave her a pain pill and she was bouncing around running up and down stairs. So obviously they worked. It was pretty funny. Anyway, her recovery is coming along. Her tummy is shaved, and she has about a three inch scar. She tries to lick it but stops if we catch her and tell her no.

I Am The Best Aunt Ever!

I really am!! First here is a picture of my Abbi and me.
So Makayla's birthday is tomorrow. She's turning 11. I wanted to do something special so I decided that I would take her for the day and dye her hair, and take her to Chili's for their Molten Chocolate Brownie that she has been raving about for the last month.
We dyed it a plum color. I absolutely love it!! I dyed my hair the same color, but it took better to her hair, mines not quite as purple. She was really surprised and we had a great night! I took her home and ended up staying and playing games with Jason, Sara, and Gayla.
Brock took this picture with my camera and I think the angle of it is just awesome. He took bunch of pictures that had interesting angles. I'm going to suggest Gayla gets him a camera and into photography classes in high school.
Kayla then used my camera and took many self portraits of her and some with Allie too. I like Kayla's eyes in this pic. They are so green!
This is Puck's doing. I had some chips in a bag sitting on the table while I was on the computer, and he came up and grabbed the bag off of the table and trotted around the table dumping chips everywhere. I was laughing too hard to catch him!

Just Thought I'd Share

Every time someone leaves the house or comes home and the puppies are outside this is what we see. They are looking under the front gate. It makes me laugh every time!

Third blog of the day

We got Abbi 4 months ago today, so I thought I'd do a sort of update blog. (As if you haven't seen enough Abbi pictures.)

Frustrating Blogger!!

Blogger was being stupid and wouldn't let me put these on my last blog and I just had to add them. The first picture is of Martin and I at my Senior Prom at the Gateway in SLC. We're kissing in the middle of the fountain, it was very romantic.
One of my favorite engagement pictures.

19 Months

So Martin and I have been married one year and 7 months and I haven't blogged anything about our wedding. So here goes...
This was our engagement picture that went out with our invitation. I love it!
My whole family at the wedding. This is our most recent family picture...that's kinda sad. Anyway. My sister took all the pictures at the wedding and somehow we didn't get a picture of Martin, his family, and I.
My flower girls and ring bearers. Brockton, Makayla, Allie, Nathan, Harli, and Samantha.
This is one of my favorite pictures. Mom is signing the marriage certificate.
Some of my friends at the wedding. I'm not sure what they are laughing at though.
I had a picture of Martin, Marta and I, but I just love this one!!
Me.
Another of my favorite pictures. (The blue rose is to symbolize my Dad.)
