I'm not sure if she's watching me play or following the mouse, but either way I think it's the cutest thing ever! She was watching the screen when Martin was on his desktop, and she actually jumped up on his desk to get to the monitor. We about died laughing. We also bought a laser pen for her that she just loves. She goes crazy following that thing, and her tail wags non stop. She's my favorite dog ever!!Thursday, November 30, 2006

Thanksgiving
So it's been a while since I've blogged. Not a whole lot has been going on besides Thanksgiving. My cousin Camille that is 3 months older than me left on her mission, and my cousin Jaren that is a week younger than me just got home, so I've gone to their farewell/homecoming. It's pretty crazy.
Thanksgiving was great. Gayla and her family and Jason and his family alternate years between our family and the spouses family, and it was an off year for them. So they weren't there. Seth and I don't really have alternates, so we get to go to Mom's every year. So the list of people there were: Mom, Doug, Seth, Martin, Me, Grandma Mills, Aunt Ruth, Uncle Kelly, (cousin) Keri and her husband Austin and baby Aidan, (cousin) Melissa, then there were some of Doug's kids that came 9 in total from his family, so there were 21 people. It was packed but tons of fun. I'm way bummed I didn't get pictures AGAIN this year.
After we ate, I sat and talked with Keri and Melissa and looked through the Black Friday ads. I usually go with my sisters because I like to laugh at the crazy people, but there wasn't anything that I wanted that I was willing to wake up at 4 am for. Maybe next year. After Keri left, I went in and had a nap on Mom's bed, while Martin talked with Uncle Kelly, and everyone else watched Cars.
Martin and I have casually been looking for apartments so we have an idea of where we want to go when we're able to move out of Seth's house. We found some we were in love with, but they don't allow pets, which is a must. I'm not giving up Abbi, or letting her live here. So we're still hunting. Ideally I would love to rent a townhome with a fenced in backyard, but haven't found any yet.

Great Gathering
Gayla and I got there at about 4:30 on Friday, checked in and set up all of our stuff. Sara got there a little after us, and my friend Wendy (who has joined us the last two times,) got there about 10:00pm. They fed us pizza for dinner, and had tons of munchies. Wendy and Sara made it until about 3:00am and Gayla and I were at it until about 4:45am. We woke up at 8:00 am, hoping to make it to the free breakfast they provide, but ended up talking in our room for about 4 hours. It was soooo much fun. Then we went to lunch, so we didn't start scraping again until about 2:00pm. Then I went home about 6:30pm. I didn't get as much done (three layouts complete, 4 more started) as I usually do (about 15-20 layouts,) but I still had so much fun.
Working on Lake Powell pics.
Almost all the group. Wendy left early on Saturday, so we didn't get a picture with her. Me, Gayla, one of Gayla's friends that she used to work with, and Sara is in front. I usually only scrapbook twice a year when we go to these things, but I think I'll be able to work on it and finish all of Lake Powell when Kara and I get together to scrapbook.
