Another One Bites the Dust

Doggie Destruction!!

Yesterday I was going through and old box and found some cheap stuffed animals that I had won at Lagoon and decided the puppies could have some new toys. This one is a stuffed pug.

They had it for less than 24 hours!!
I still can't find the little plastic eyes. This is the second toy they have torn apart this week, and the fourth one in the last two weeks. What am I to do with these destructive puppies?

Pup in Boots

So in my last blog I mentioned I wanted to get the puppies some boots because of all of the rain we have had this last week. I bought them both boots, brought them home and tried them on. I wish I would have taken pictures or had a video camera to record it. It was pretty hilarious. I put them on Abbi first because she's easier to deal with. I got all four on her, then put her in her kennel to fight to get Puck's boots on him. He's so difficult! I got the front to on him after five minutes of struggling, and the moved on to the back paws. Another five minutes later, I still didn't have a back one on, and he had the front to off again. SOO frustrating. THEN I went to get Abbi out of her kennel and she had one of her back boots off. Needless to say, I took the boots back to the store. They just aren't going to work for our dogs. Although, I am going to try to make some out of fleece and try again. The one's I had bought from the store were mostly made out of synthetic leather type material, maybe that's what was bugging them.

One Week

I'll be 21 a week from today. I'm pretty excited. I love my birthday! I'm taking off work, because I don't think anyone should have to work on their birthday. I'm going to spend the money I get from babysitting Sam all on me. I need some new winter clothes, long sleeve shirts, jackets, sweaters, things like that.

Emilee's sister Amanda just had her baby girl. Kylee Amanda Cosper. 5 lbs 13 ounces 20 inches long, and she wasn't due until October 14. Mom and I went up to the hospital the day she had it, but we couldn't see the baby because it was still in NICU. The baby was ok, they were just watching her because she's so little. Sorry this is kind of a boring blog. There's just not a whole lot going on right now. Martin's liking his job, I'm hating mine. It's been raining for the past three days, which makes it hard to deal with the puppies. I hate leaving them in the rain, but they are wet and muddy, so I don't want them in the house. I want to get them puppy boots and coats, but I'm not sure if they'll do any good and if they will leave them on.

Tea Party

Every Monday I watch my youngest neice Samantha, while Gayla's at work and the kids are at school. I used to watch Harli and Sam, but Harli just started kindergarten. Last time I had the two girls (August,) we made homemade ice cream. I had the girls help mix the ingredients, and they got to add their own food coloring. We had a lot of fun. I didn't have the camera at the time, but I remembered the camera today. Sam and I had a tea party!!

I got the tea set for Christmas when I was like 12, and thought she would love it, which she did! We went to hostess and got bread and treats. Then came home and set everything up. We had peanut butter sandwiches and a peach drink. Then for our dessert she picked out chocolate zingers, and I chose powedered doughnuts. I love Mondays!!!

New Baby

Saturday morning boredom

It's Saturday morning and both boys (Martin and Seth) are still in bed so that leaves me and the dogs with nothing to do. I checked my e-mail, myspace, and friends blogs....nothin. So to pass the time I took pictures and posted them here.

This is my Abbi. She is HUGE now. At her last appointment she weighed 20.5 lbs. I'm thinking she's upwards of 25 now. Which is crazy because my niece Samantha weighs 30 lbs. Both dogs are now 4 months and a couple weeks old, and we got Abbi exactly 3 months ago.
Here's Mr. Puck. He loves to cuddle when you hold him. Last appointment he weighed 16lbs.
