Birthday Week

Wednesday Emilee took me to lunch at Applebee's. It was very fun catching up again. We should definately hang out more often.

Thursday was Grey's Anatomy season premiere! Ashley came over and watched it with me after she got off work. It was amazing, I'm so glad our shows are back.

Crazy stuff has been happening at work, but I got to take my three day weekend. Friday Sam and I spent the day together. We went to Target to get milk for breakfast and I had to get these for Abbi.

I had gotten her one the other day, and she LOVED it so I had to get the rest of them. They are so ugly they are kinda cute. Sam and I also made oreo truffles. She had fun rolling them into balls and adding sprinkles. She was pretty timid on the sprinkles, but one had a TON of sprinkles. It made me laugh! Friday night Martin and I went to dinner with Mom and Doug. It was very yummy. Thanks Mom! After dinner we took Grandma to get groceries, and guess what they had....
That's right folks it's eggnogg season, and before my birthday even. I don't think it's ever been this early before. I love eggnog, but it can't be just any eggnog I only like Cream o' Weber brand.

Last night Martin and I went out with Michelle, Ed and Sean to see My Fair Lady at The Pioneer Theatre in Salt Lake. It was very good. I'm glad we could all go together.

Today we had dinner and played Sequence over at Mom and Doug's house. Then Seth and I went to Smith's to get some $1 ice cream!

All in all I had a great birthday weekend. Thanks for all the birthday wishes Melissa, Martin, Seth for calling and posting such a sweet blog for me, Keri, Emilee, Mom and Doug, Gayla, Joe, Kevin, Claire, Emily, Brock Kayla Harli Sam, Amanda, Whitney, Ashley, Becky, Andy, Jason and Sara!

--TV series' on DVD. They make me very happy. No commercials you can watch as many episodes as you want. That's all Martin and I do lately. I have all available seasons for Scrubs, House, Boy Meets World, Battlestar Gallactica, some of The Office, and now Greys Anatomy and Private Practice. Martin got the last two for me last night as an early birthday present I was super excited. I have a picture I'll post later of them. I'm sure there are more that we have, but I can't think of what they are.

--That Grey's Anatomy is starting again tonight! I'm VERY excited about that!

--Reading blogs. I have 40 that I have set up on the RSS feeds so I can see who has posted a new blog. I think that's a little obsessive.

chocolate mess

Sunday Martin and I decided to change the furniture around. I like it a lot better now. It feels a lot more open and spacious.

I made those cake balls from Bakerella. I made the oreo ones Sunday night and the cake ones today. The oreo ones are SO yummy! I'm definately addicted already. I haven't tried the cake ones yet.

I made cute little boxes with my Cricut to hold the cake balls. I think it would be really cute at a party or shower to have the boxes made out of cute paper and have these in them.




They are really cute, fun to make and yummy, but man, TOO many dishes.

It's been a while since I've blogged. I've been super busy at work. One of our full time people transferred to a different store, so I'm the one who has been working the extra hours needed. Which is fine whatever the money is nice I guess, but I'm part time. If I wanted to be full time I would have applied to be full time in the first place. I REALLY need a new job. Anyway.

My quote from last week was from Dr. Horrible's sing along blog. Check it out! It's only 45 minutes long and well worth it. I'm obsessed with the music. I begged Martin to watch it with me for like 3 days. He finally gave in and he loved it too.

I have a couple random pictures to share. This is one of Abbi's new favorite places to be.

School has started for Gayla's kids which means I get to watch Sam every other Friday when Gayla works. YAY! I've missed her so much. Yesterday was our second Friday. We went swimming, even though it's starting to get cold, and played at the playground.

She's SO cute!

Martin has lost all bleaching privileges.

He might get mad that I'm posting pictures, but it's too funny not to share!

My family is getting together on the 21 for family home evening and to celebrate my birthday. It's a little backwards but the birthday person (people) of the month have to supply the birthday cake and ice cream if they want them. I'm making and bringing either these or these. Aren't they fabulous? The second ones look easier, but the first ones are more birthday-ish. We'll see how well they turn out. (Also check out Bakerella's blog all of her ideas are amazing.)

Tip Junkie is having a good week of ideas. That's where I found Bakerella's blog. She also had a link to a tutorial to change the icon on the address bar for your blog. I changed mine and it was really easy.
