Easter

I just got pictures of Easter from Gayla so I thought I would share. I went to church with mom, and then we got Martin and Doug and went up to Gayla's. We had yummy Hawaiian Haystacks for dinner, and then Mom gave the kids kites. They were a huge hit. I couldn't believe how fun they were.

Us girls watching the kids and boys fly the kites. Aren't we so cute!

After kites, we rolled eggs down the hill.

Then we had an easter egg hunt for the kids.

Then sat around and talked.

Crazy Weekend

So my mom's husband Doug, had knee replacement surgery last thursday, (he is doing REALLY well. Hardly any pain!) and Gayla, Brandon, her two oldest Brock and Kayla went down to Vegas for a wedding down there, and Seth went with them. So all of us took turns with the two youngest girls, and I took Gayla's dog Minni and Sara took Seth's dog Puck. Thursday I spent the day up with Mom in the hospital while Doug had his surgery. Then we picked up the girls and Minni. Anyway, enough with the confusing explanations. I had Minni all weekend and the girls on Saturday. Now pictures.
-Thursday Night-

Abbi wanting to get Minni's treat after inhaling her own.

Licking her lips.

She got it!

-Saturday-
The girls were running around being crazy and I was just snapping pictures. It was too funny. I love the faces they pulled!
Sammi

Harli

Abbi was amazing with the girls, so submissive, never jumping up on them.

A break from the craziness. They don't watch TV at home, so anytime they come over they are glued to my TV. Too funny.

Gayla got home on Sunday and so I had to give the girls and Minni back. I got home to my quiet house and thought about how awesome Abbi played with Minni and Harli and Sam, and told Martin, I either wanted a second dog, or a baby...so we'll see

Random Thursday

I had yesterday and today off work. Yesterday I decided to go spend time up with my sister and sister-in-law. Lately I've been stressed about Abbi and her not being socialized with other dogs and people. Yes Abbi loves Puck and acts fine around him, but our old back-fence neighbors had two little chihuahuas and Abbi was really aggressive towards them. Anyway. Gayla and Sara both have dogs so they told me to bring Abbi up to meet them and see how they acted with each other. First I introduced Abbi to Gayla's dog Minni. I took Abbi up the the fence where Minni was and Abbi just sniffed at her and whined. So I took Abbi inside to let her smell everything and then let Minni in. Abbi growled for just a second, but then was just very curious. They were hilarious together once they warmed up. Chasing each other around the house and outside. So funny! Then later Sara brought her little dog Zoey around. Abbi growled a little bit more at Zoey but relaxed quickly. They were all so funny together chasing around the back yard. I thought I had forgotten my camera, but just realized today, I had it in my purse the whole time. The funniest thing was the size difference between Abbi and them. Minni and Zoey weigh under 10lbs and Abbi weighs about 55! So funny. Next time we go play up there I'll be sure to take some pictures/videos.

Today I had Sammi over for the day to play. We had a lot of fun. Her one request was to go to the bread store and then to the park to eat our treats, something we did almost every week when I watched her on a regular basis. We also went to Hobby Lobby, and to Seth's house to see him and Puck. I love spending time with her and miss not being able to every week.

I was feeling crafty so I bought stuff at Hobby Lobby today and made this photo storage box.

I don't know what else to do with it. I want to add embellishments, but that's where I lack the creativity and supplies.

Here is a picture of Zoey and Minni in my baby carrier. I meant to post it, but I don't like me in it. Please ignore my fat face, and the scratches on my neck, they DID NOT want to be in there together and were trying desperately to get out.
