5 things I'm thinking about right now

--I finally finished blogging about our California and Vegas vacation. Check it out.

--I'm now working full time for RS and I moved stores, so it's closer to my house which is nice, and it's a busier store so I should be making commission consistantly. I'm a little anxious about it, but it should be a good move. I'm still wanting and looking for another job, but until I get one, this will have to do. It makes Martin happy that I'm working more. Me? Not so much.

--Yesterday while I was having a nap, Abbi snuck out and ate a whole bowl of English candy, wrappers and all. Stupid dog. She's all plugged up. She's thrown up a few times and got out some of the wrappers, but her belly is still bloated and she's been really lazy. I'm taking her into the vet today at 4:00. I'm a little nervous that it's going to be super expensive, I hope she's ok though.

--We signed another six month lease at our apartments. Not what we wanted to do, but after the vacation we didn't have extra money to put a deposit down on a new place, so we're stuck. It's not a bad apartment, but we are tired of it and want something bigger.

--It's that time of year again when I have babies on the brain. It doesn't help that everyone around me is getting pregnant. I still don't know if we're ready, but at this point I'm afraid we might never be ready for kids. I almost wish that it would just accidently/magically happen so the choice is taken out of it and we could get it over with. That sounds horrible doesn't it? I do long to have a family of my own though, and to give my mom more grandkids and Gayla some more neices and nephews. I think I/we are mature enough to take care of a baby. The lack of sleep, changing, feeding, bathing and basic things, but I worry about the stress it would put on our relationship and the financial strain and what that would do for our relationship.

Las Vegas

This was the hotel we stayed at. We really loved our hotel. It had a 64 lane bowling alley, a 13 screen movie theater, 2 restaruants that we ate at, a pool and huge hot tub. And those are just the places that we actually went. It also had a full service spa and a few other things.

The first night we walked most of the strip. This was outside of the Bellagio.

Martin got us tickets to go see all the cool stuff. We went to the shark reef aquarium at Mandalay Bay.

I really like this picture.

I touched that dark one twice. I screamed the first time in front of a whole bunch of people. I felt silly.

Martin was really proud of this picture. It looks pretty cool.

We also went to the Bodies and Titanic Exhibitions at the Luxor. They were really amazing.

We also went to M&M and Coke Worlds.

All in all we had a fabulous vacation. We packed so much in and I'm so glad we got to spend so much time with Joe and Monika.

Kevin was so fun he insisted on getting pictures with everyone. I think it made everyone feel very welcome, instead of like they were tagging along.

I was so glad that Jason could be there. He took Kevin through the Temple back before Kevin went on his mission so it was neat to have him there for this.

We were really missing Seth and Brandon in these pictures.

Beaches

Sorry it's taken me so long. Joe, Monika and Martin got to California early Friday morning. We were staying in Valencia and wanted to take Joe and Monika to a beach. (Martin was more interested in sleeping after 12 hours of driving.) The closest beach was Ventura. The drive there was beautiful. We saw lots of orange trees. Ventura was my least favorite beach we went to. It was cold and kind of a blah type of day, but still beautiful.

Saturday was the wedding. I'll do a seperate post for those pictures.

Sunday Gayla was flying home so we went to Santa Monica Pier and Rodondo Beach again to show Joe and Monika before her flight left.

Monika liked Santa Monica she said it was her beach.

I like these next two pictures of Martin and his parents.

My hair is super crazy in this picture, but it's still kind of a cute one of us together.

This is my favorite picture of Martin from our trip. He's also wearing the awesome shirt I got him in Disneyland!

When we went to the beaches with my mom she insisted that we had to put our feet in at every one even if it was cold. So I made everyone at least get in for a minute.

I told Martin not to get his pants wet, but he went out a little to far and a wave caught him.

Then we went to Rodondo Beach again. Gayla and Monika got a pearl put into a necklace while we were there too.

It was such a gorgeous day. So perfect. It makes me want to go back!
