So, I've finally decided what I want to do with my life, and what career path I want to take. Veterinary Technology. I'm not going so far as to be a Veterinarian. WAY too much schooling=SO not for me! So I'm going to be a Veterinary Technician where I work in the office assisting the Veterinarian. I'm so excited to have such resolve in what I want to do. My problem with Dental Assisting was working with the patients, because when you have your hand in their mouths, you are the one that has to be doing all the small talk, which I'm really not comfortable with or good at. Whereas working in a vets office it's as easy as saying "Oh your dog/pet is so cute" to build an instant relationship with the person. Plus I love animals, as you can probably tell most of my posts have pictures of the dogs. I'd be going to Utah Career College which is about five miles away from my house. They offer financial aide too. (YAY!) Here's a little blurb from their website about the program.
Veterinary Technicians perform both administrative and clinical duties, with a variety of patients from a 10 gram Finch to a 100 pound Rottweiler. If you posses the love and desire to help our "little friends" that can't help themselves then this is the career path for you. Patients and clients rely on you to carry out your responsibilities professionally and proficiently.
The Veterinary world is fast paced. This keeps veterinary technicians on their toes. Your day could involve assisting with surgeries, educating clients about new pets, washing dogs, dispense medication for a patient, and assisting a pet hit by a car all before lunch. Our Veterinary Technology program is designed to prepare our students for the exciting fast paced lives of a veterinary technicians. The Veterinary Technology program is condensed to allow you to quickly enter the job market and achieve your goal.
It looks like summer semester doesn't start until July, which is kind of a let down, since I'm so excited about it now, but I can deal with it. I feel a little guitly for changing from Dental Assisting to this since I was almost halfway done, but aren't college kids suppose to change their major at least once?

With All My Love
Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. ~From The Wonder Years
To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time. ~Clara Ortega
Noah: Well that's what we do, we fight... You tell me when I am being an arrogant son of a bitch and I tell you when you are a pain in the ass. Which you are, 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. You have like a 2 second rebound rate, then you're back doing the next pain-in-the-ass thing.Allie: So what?
Noah: So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day. ~From The Notebook

Easter
Sorry it's been a while. I went from blogging almost everyday to nothing. Anyway. Not a whole lot has been going on. For Easter I went to church with my mom (gasp.) Then we had a big family thing at my sister's house. We had an Easter lesson and ate a yummy dinner then we rolled eggs down the hill across the street from Gayla's house. I don't know how the 'rolling-eggs-down-the-hill' tradition started, but we've been doing it ever since I remember. If I can get pics from my sister I'll post them, but we had tons of fun.
I've been addicted to Grey's Anatomy lately. I watched seasons one and two on DVD, and watched the first couple episodes of season three on TV, but I'm the type of person that has a hard time with doing something consistently so I haven't watched for a while, but I had Martin download them all for me and I watched 7 hours of Grey's Anatomy in one day...yeah major addiction! I just can't get enough.
P.S. I added my Myspace link. Check it out. You can't look at my pics unless your signed in to myspace..kind of a pain sorry, but look at my blogs about my celeb look alikes. It's pretty fun.

Project
My oldest brother Jason works at a tile store and they recieved a shipment of marble that came in these big wood boxes. He thought of us and saved them. Seth turned them into these!
Two dog houses for Puck and Abbi.
Hey, I added more albums to my "My photos" link if your interested.

Minnie Min
My sister and her family went on a little vacation this weekend so she left her puppy Minnie with me to dogsit. I thought it would be so fun to watch the three dogs and have them play together all sweet. No. Abbi wants to eat her, and Puck wants to make babies with her... So yeah, my planning didn't work out so well. It's actually really frustrating, I've cried and yelled a lot these last two days because of it. Abbi just gets so upset, growling whining and barking. So I've had to keep her and Minnie seperate. Puck is ok around her, but we just have to watch him. I finally got my new 2 gig memory card (YAY!) from ebay, so here are some pictures of Minnie.
"Shake"
She's a Lhasa Apso, and about 5 months old or so.
She's a great lap dog; very happy to sit in your lap for hours.

St. George
I went down to St. George with my mom and grandma this weekend. The weather was amazing. 80 degrees yesterday. We drove through Zion's National Park on Friday.
We had a blast! I loved spending time with my mom and Grandma.
