So in my last blog I mentioned I wanted to get the puppies some boots because of all of the rain we have had this last week. I bought them both boots, brought them home and tried them on. I wish I would have taken pictures or had a video camera to record it. It was pretty hilarious. I put them on Abbi first because she's easier to deal with. I got all four on her, then put her in her kennel to fight to get Puck's boots on him. He's so difficult! I got the front to on him after five minutes of struggling, and the moved on to the back paws. Another five minutes later, I still didn't have a back one on, and he had the front to off again. SOO frustrating. THEN I went to get Abbi out of her kennel and she had one of her back boots off. Needless to say, I took the boots back to the store. They just aren't going to work for our dogs. Although, I am going to try to make some out of fleece and try again. The one's I had bought from the store were mostly made out of synthetic leather type material, maybe that's what was bugging them.

Up here, because it's so cold, dogs wear boots when they will be outside for extended periods of time.
We bought Zoe's boots this weekend. She deals pretty well with them only because ever since she can remember, I've wiped her paws off before she could come in the house. (Only when it was raining or snowing.)
Also, if she doesn't wear them, her paws will crack and bleed. Who wants that?
