Martin and I decided that it was time to getaway for a couple days, so we packed up and headed to St. George. My grandparents lived in St. George when I was younger, and we would go visit them every Easter. I love going back and reliving some of my childhood memories. We got a really nice hotel room (the honeymoon suite) with a jetted tub and everything. It was amazing.
We forgot the digital camera's memory card and had to go get a disposable camera, and this is the only picture of the hotel room that I'm happy with.
We didn't have a whole lot pre-planned, so we just made it up as we went along and went to the dinosaur tracks museum.
They found the tracks in 2001, and I went to see them when they just had them under an awning, but they got government funds and built this over the top of some of the dino tracks.
It's all pretty interesting
We drove around a lot down there trying to find things to do, and we found our way up to "The Dixie Rock." It was about 60 degrees outside so we "hiked" up to it. This is a picture taken out over the valley.
Martin under the Dixie Rock, and this is why we have a digital camera. (because I can't take pictures for anything)
Me posing under the Dixie Rock. Those are pretty much the only pictures that turned out from our disposable camera. Martin surprised me with tickets to go to St. George Musical Theater to see Beau Jest. I'd never heard of it before, but I liked it a lot. We were going to come home after the play, but I didn't like the idea of driving all the way home so late, so we got to stay an extra night.

I think it is very good to go back to your childhood, it helps you sometimes to cope with being an adult. I am sure you both had a wonderful time, just make sure you take your digital camera with you all the time
