So thanks to my sister Gayla and sister in law Sara I'm obsessed with coupons, and with good reason. Using www.pinchingyourpennies.com I saw that Albertson's was having a huge sale this week on Betty Crocker, General Mills, and Pillsbury brands. I printed coupons from the computer and went shopping with my sister and Seth my brother. We saved tons of money. I got 50 items saved $102 and spent $29.50. Seth got 60 items saved $128 and spent $42. Gayla spent about $100 and saved almost $330!! We got cereals, cookie dough, cinnamon rolls, Betty Crocker Warm Delights (yum!), Pillsbury Toaster Strudle, and Go-gurts for about $0.70 each, boxed potatoes ($0.35 each.) And the best deals were yogurt smoothies, dinner rolls, and pizza rolls for $0.20 each!! It makes me super happy. I feel so domestic that I saved us so much money. Martin argues that it's not really "saving" because some of the stuff I wouldn't buy in the first place, but when it's so cheap how can you not get it, and it's good name brand stuff. Anyway that's my happiness for the day.

I can believe that this made you feel very happy. Important is that you make sure you don't do this too often, then these bargains turn into crazy spending spree which will make you spend money on things you don't really need. But sometimes you just have to do it.
7 Eleven is giving out coupons for digiorno pizza, then you go to smiths to use them (Smiths is having a sale on digiorno pizza, buy four get two breyers ice cream for free) With the Smiths sale and coupon, the pizza is free and so is the ice cream! All you have to pay is the tax! Heard this from my sister who lives in Layton!! And yes, Provo does it too!
Oh I hit the GM sale like crazy last fall when I first discovered PYP. We're still eating some of the cereal and toaster streudels! Now I've got a million coupons and I'm too busy to even go grocery shopping! But couponing is really fun!
