I watch my niece Sam on Monday's usually until about 7 because Brandon goes to school on Monday's, but my sister came out to my Mom's today with her other kids, so Sam and I went over to Mom's about 5:30. While deciding what we wanted for dinner we started talking about Skittles and I meantioned the Skittles game. I used to play it all the time with friends when we were growing up. (Remember Laura and Kara??) The family had never heard of it so I explained it to them. (You have a bowl of skittles on the table and you go around in a circle picking out two Skittles at a time. If they are both the same color then you can chew them until the next person gets doubles. If you don't pick doubles then you have to hold them in your mouth until you do.) Gayla got so excited about it and said that we had to play it. So on our way to pick up dinner (yummy chinese,) we stopped at Albertsons and bought THREE bags of the big bags of Skittles.
After dinner, Mom, Gayla, Seth and I played. We changed the rules a bit by rolling dice. (If you rolled doubles you could chew until the next person got doubles.) It was SO much fun. All of us had BULGING cheeks which made us laugh, which made us drool...which made us laugh harder...drool more.....you get the picture. Mom rolled doubles most often, I rolled least often. Seth gave up first because he started gagging. We bought three bags, opened two and probably didn't get through one. I told Gayla that she has to bring the rest of the Skittles to our scrapbooking weekend in a couple weeks, so Wendy, Kara..be prepared!! Gross detail:: we took the Skittle-balls out of our mouths to compare them. It was super nasty. They were probably about 4 inches round. Good times!! I wish I would have had my camera.

ya kinda gross to imagine a heaping ball of drool and skittles coming out of ones mouth, though it does sound like interesting amusement!!
I have heard of that game, me and my sister played it the other day but we didnt remember the rules exactly so we kinda changed it but we had mouths full and ended up spitting it out cuz it was too full that is so funny!
I never heard about this game, but I am sure you all must had a wonderful time. Next time don't forget the camera.
Haha! I totally miss playing that and CANNOT WAIT for the scrapbooking party! Yay! Lots of fun stuff. "Once Upon a Time..."
