Six years ago today my dad died. I'm not sure what else to say about it. Today has been hard. I went up to the cemetery and got there right around 6:30 which is significant because that's what time I got home the day he died. So it was exactly six years almost to the minute...anyway.
I went to Old Navy for some retail therapy to buy this years Old Navy Flag shirts, and guess what, they had some for dogs!!
FYI: the name of this entry is from Grey's Anatomy from the episode where George's dad dies.
Christina: There's a club, a dead dads club, and you can't be in it until your in it. You can try and understand, you can sympathize, but until you feel that loss...
George: I don't know how to exist in a world where my dad doesn't.
Christina: Yeah that never really changes.

It is very hard to learn to live without some you love. But I am sure that your Dad is watching over you wherever he is. Make sure you keep him alive in your heart.
DUDE! Thanks for spoiling that! I hadn't gotten to that episode. I'm going to cry!
