....and with that discovery, I've realized something else. I've been in a rut. For a while now. Mostly because I haven't been working and I wasn't accomplishing anything. I've been so depressed, and that is why I have been so adamant about not wanting kids. Now that I'm working again, and feeling good about myself things are returning to "normal." I look at babies and sigh and think they are cute, instead of thinking they are crying monsters. Now that doesn't mean that I want them right now, I'm just saying the idea of having one isn't so repulsive anymore.

Having a baby is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Not to say it isn't challenging..but man is it rewarding! Just be sure you are really ready to give up your freedom and sacrifice your life completely for someone, because that's what you do when you give birth. It's worth every moment though. As always, pray about it and you'll know what do to and when you are ready!
Before making such a big step, think first what you still want to do before having a baby. As soon you have children, these will be a responsiblity for at least 20 years, also a very big expense. It helps if you are able first to save up some money before hand, as it gets harder when you are tied down and can't do things. Otherwise if the time is right, children are a wonderful experience.
I totally get what you're saying. We could start having kids really soon and I'd love to and am often feeling baby hungry. But then I have to think about what it will be like with a baby when Jacob's in med school next year etc... so I'm content to just coo at the other babies in church... for now. :)
I laughed at the "repulsive" comment. Still chuckling. :)
babies are fun however, when you are a mommy you cant give them back so make sure your ready lol
I am taking blame for this one :)
end of story ;)
