My party was awesome! I spent lots of time cleaning the whole house, by the time my party was suppose to start, I was SO tired. Being sick didn't help either. My mom was the only one on time, everyone else showed up around 6:30, or 7:00. We played a little of my Grey's Anatomy Trivia game until everyone got there. Except Sara, she didn't get there til after 7:30. The package that Martin's mom sent us came today. I was so excited. I called Martin at work and he told me to wait until he got home, so he opened it up and everyone wanted to see.
My original plan was to watch the season three finale episode before we watched the season four premiere, but we were so preoccupied that I forgot until about 7:15. So we watch a fast forwarded version of the hour long episode, with my commentary, only watching the best and most important parts for those who aren't avid watchers of Grey's. I loved the premiere! I'm so happy with it, and I LOVE Lexi Grey! I won't take up any more space here, but those who saw it, I want to talk!!

Sara was fantastic and made brain cupcakes. They even had blood in them. (Strawberry filling) She's so creative! Gayla brought masks and gloves for everybody. I was pretty bummed because the two friends that I invited to my party, bailed last minute, so it was just my family. But they really are my best friends. I love them so much. They made me feel so special. They all brought different food items for our sandwiches, and played board games that would be pretty dumb to people who aren't fans of the show, and were excited about the premiere, even if it had to be forced, they made it seem like they really were interested. They all wore scrubs and participated. I couldn't have picked a better family.
After everyone left I had Martin go through the photo album that his mom sent again with me. I wanted to hear all the different stories of him growing up. It is such a special book. Monika did such a wonderful job putting it all together. Barbara, please let Monika know that we received it, and that I am writing her a letter now, to be sent off tomorrow, letting her know how wonderful it is. It's too special to write it all here. I am honestly so truly blessed with an immediate family and my in-law family. I've always been horrible at putting my feelings in to words, but I am so grateful.

I liked the Grey's premiere but Meredith was being so dumb, as usual, and I thought the deer storyline was dumb. I liked Lexi, more by the end of the show, but when she tells Meredith she's her sister in the middle of the ER entrance...that was just silly. But overall I liked it. And I liked Private Practice too but it's certainly no Greys. I love Addison though and Taye Diggs is hot so I think it'll be good. :)
I have told Monika and she was so happy that you finally received the book. It must have taken at least 6-7 weeks. Also she is looking forward to your letter.

I loved everything about the premiere. The deer was funny. I love Lexie and George as friends! I'm glad Derrick and Meredith are mostly back together, and the part with Mark telling Derrick that he came to Seattle to win him back makes me laugh!

I'm so bummed I missed your birthday. I would SO have loved it and been all dorky for Grey's Anatomy with you!
