obsession

Isn't obsession a kind of perfume? Oh well. I'm pretty much obsessed with a lot of things right now.

Obsession 1: The Twilight series. I'm rereading Twilight. I can't believe I have to wait a whole year for the next book to come out. I'm not a patient person. *pouts*

Obsession 2: Vampires in general. I've always had a thing for Vampires and Twilight is just intensifying it. I just got the book Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. I'm hoping that it's good, though I don't think anything can compare to Twilight. I'm also going to be watching Van Helsing and Underworld tomorrow. I wish Martin and I could be vampires for Halloween, but if we were to do it I would want to buy the really expensive vampire costumes. Like these...

but at $109 and $139 respectively, it's not going to happen. Maybe next year. (Wouldn't my husband look so freakin' hot in that costume? I think so. mmm)

Obsession 3: TV shows on ABC.
Dancing with the Stars: I watch everything the day after it airs on abc.com, I just found out that Floyd and Karina got kicked off this week. (YAY) I'm loving Sabrina Bryan, Mel B, Jennie Garth, and Marie Osmond. This is really a season for the girls. I think Sabrina will win. I don't really like any of the guys.
The Bachelor: This is the first time I've watched this series, and I can't get enough. I think it'll be between Deanna and Jenni in the end.
Pushing Daisies: This is a new series this year. I love it. The way it's done reminds me of Moulin Rouge, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy...and another movie, but I just can't put my finger on it right now. I really like it. It has the girl that played Glinda from Wicked on Broadway. Her voice is amazing. Love her.
and of course
Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy

Hey, just wanted to be sure you know that there are two other books in the series, already out. Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. I thought there was just the one, too. And then I saw the other two and about swallowed my tongue!

Yeah I know. I read all of them in less than a week. So much for my plan to drag them out a little. Have you read them too?

Yes! They were amazing! I read Twilight twice before realizing there were two others.

I've already realized that Jacob is not having this whole "vampire" costume idea. Party pooper. I'll just tell everyone he's Edward. :) I'm being Bella! So excited. Glad you loved the books! (Glad you loved it to Laura! When I gave it to you for your birthday I was worried!)

I've read the first half of twilight, can't seem to put it down. Stayed up until 1:30 in the morning reading, am I crazy!!??
Now I see what it is all about. Glad to be a part of the madness.
