Today was the little star party. This year it was at my Uncle John's house. I made oreo truffles to take to the party. I made two kinds mint and regular. Click here for the original recipe from Bakerella. There are step by step pictures too.
The chocolate I use you can get at Walmart (almond bark) or Target (candy coating) both in the baking aisle. A couple things I do different: I don't use all of the cream cheese. It makes it a little too oily. Just use enough that you can roll them into a ball and it stays. Also if you use the Double stuff oreos, use even less cream cheese.

I never got to talk to you at the party, but those truffles were awesome. My twins loved them as much as I did.
Yeah, the recipe - so yummy! I loved them. Your doggy looks so cute! I'm glad that you still posted about Little Star despite someone having to put you down. Don't worry about putting pictures on of everybody else, cause everybody else loves you and likes to be apart of your blog.
Staci I loved seeing you at the party! And I'm really sad you had to take down those pictures :( I was going to copy the one where you could see me and Aidan playing on the ground cause I liked it but when i read your blog earlier I was in a rush and didn't.
