This is the picture that was sent to us by the people we got them from. I have more pictures but this one will do. I have had a terrible day. I got up this morning at 6:15 to come see Abbi at Seth's house. She was crying when I got here. I took her outside to do her business and play with her and she was getting really rambuntous and she was nipping at me and then she bit me. Not just a play bite, but she clamped down and drew blood. It makes me so upset because she bites at me all the time and I can't ever get her to stop. I've read the books and everything where your suppose to tell them no and stop playing with them...but it's not working. The plan was that I was to take her up to Gayla's for the day so she could dog sit, but I was so upset with Abbi and her hating me that I cried the whole way up there. Sobbing. So I ended up not going to work and staying up at Gayla's all day. I know she's just a puppy but I get so frustrated that I don't want to have anything to do with her. Thats so sad to say because I love her to pieces, but I'm just so discouraged. I feel like I've ruined her already. Martin and Seth tell me I'm over reacting and she's just a puppy and doesn't know what she's doing, but that doesn't make me stop feeling the way I am. What I'm I going to be like when I have an actually baby that is so much more important on how I raise it. If I screw up with a baby I can't just take it to the pound. I just don't know what to do.

When Zoe was nipping and biting and the ignore trick didn't work, we started yelping. High pitched like a puppy. And THEN ignoring her.
When that worked we were pretty excited until she started doing it about a month later when we played tug of war or wrestling. We started biting back, like a litter mate would do. It sounds terrible, but it worked! Only enough to make HER yelp. Not enough to draw blod. Her ears were the most sensitive spot so it took less pressure.
She's bite free now. Sometimes she'll get her mouth around a hand or arm and then pull away before she actually bites, because she remembers what it felt like to be bitten.
(I wanted Zoe to go away before Brian came up with this idea. Don't feel bad.)
